  1 H3212 Then went H8123 Samson H5804 to Gaza, H7200 and saw H802 there a prostitute, H935 and went in unto her.
  2 H5841 And it was told the Gazites, H559 saying, H8123 Samson H935 is come H5437 here. And they surrounded him in, H693 and laid wait H3915 for him all night H8179 in the gate H5892 of the city, H2790 and were quiet H3915 all the night, H559 saying, H1242 In the morning, H216 when it is day, H2026 we shall kill him.
  3 H8123 And Samson H7901 lay H2677 until midnight, H6965 and arose H2677 at midnight, H270 and took H1817 the doors H8179 of the gate H5892 of the city, H8147 and the two H4201 posts, H5265 and went away H1280 with them, bar H7760 and all, and put H3802 them upon his shoulders, H5927 and carried them up H7218 to the top H2022 of a hill H6440 that is before H2275 Hebron.
  4 H310 And it came to pass afterward, H157 that he loved H802 a woman H5158 in the valley H7796 of Sorek, H8034 whose name H1807 was Delilah.
  5 H5633 And the lords H6430 of the Philistines H5927 came up H559 unto her, and said H6601 unto her, Entice H7200 him, and see H1419 where his great H3581 strength H3201 lies, and by what means we may prevail H631 against him, that we may bind H6031 him to afflict H5414 him: and we will give H376 you every one H505 of us eleven hundred H3701 pieces of silver.
  6 H1807 And Delilah H559 said H8123 to Samson, H5046 Tell H1419 me, I pray you, where your great H3581 strength H631 lies, and with which you might be bound H6031 to afflict you.
  7 H8123 And Samson H559 said H631 unto her, If they bind H7651 me with seven H3892 green H3499 cords H2717 that were never dried, H2470 then shall I be weak, H259 and be as another H120 man.
  8 H5633 Then the lords H6430 of the Philistines H5927 brought up H7651 to her seven H3892 green H3499 cords H2717 which had not been dried, H631 and she bound him with them.
  9 H693 Now there were men lying in wait, H3427 waiting H2315 with her in the chamber. H559 And she said H6430 unto him, The Philistines H8123 are upon you, Samson. H5423 And he broke H3499 the cords, H6616 as a thread H5296 of flax H5423 is broken H7306 when it touches H784 the fire. H3581 So his strength H3045 was not known.
  10 H1807 And Delilah H559 said H8123 unto Samson, H2048 Behold, you have mocked H1696 me, and told H3577 me lies: H5046 now tell H631 me, I pray you, with which you might be bound.
  11 H559 And he said H631 unto her, If they bind H631 me fast H2319 with new H5688 ropes H4399 that never were occupied, H2470 then shall I be weak, H259 and be as another H120 man.
  12 H1807 Delilah H3947 therefore took H2319 new H5688 ropes, H631 and bound H559 him with it, and said H6430 unto him, The Philistines H8123 be upon you, Samson. H693 And there were liers in wait, H3427 waiting H2315 in the chamber. H5423 And he broke H2220 them from off his arms H2339 like a thread.
  13 H1807 And Delilah H559 said H8123 unto Samson, H2008 Until Now H2048 you have mocked H1696 me, and told H3577 me lies: H5046 tell H631 me with which you might be bound. H559 And he said H707 unto her, If you weave H7651 the seven H4253 locks H7218 of my head H4545 with the web.
  14 H8628 And she fastened H3489 it with the pin, H559 and said H6430 unto him, The Philistines H8123 be upon you, Samson. H3364 And he awaked H8142 out of his sleep, H5265 and went away H3489 with the pin H708 of the log, H4545 and with the web.
  15 H559 And she said H349 unto him, How H559 can you say, H157 I love H3820 you, when your heart H2048 is not with me? you have mocked H7969 me these three H6471 times, H5046 and have not told H1419 me where your great H3581 strength lies.
  16 H6693 And it came to pass, when she pressed H3117 him daily H1697 with her words, H509 and urged H5315 him, so that his soul H7114 was troubled H4191 unto death;
  17 H5046 That he told H3820 her all his heart, H559 and said H5927 unto her, There has not come H4177 a razor H7218 upon my head; H5139 for I have been a Nazarite H430 unto God H517 from my mother's H990 womb: H1548 if I be shaven, H3581 then my strength H5493 will go H2470 from me, and I shall become weak, H120 and be like any other man.
  18 H1807 And when Delilah H7200 saw H5046 that he had told H3820 her all his heart, H7971 she sent H7121 and called H5633 for the lords H6430 of the Philistines, H559 saying, H5927 Come up H6471 this once, H5046 for he has showed H3820 me all his heart. H5633 Then the lords H6430 of the Philistines H5927 came up H5927 unto her, and brought H3701 money H3027 in their hand.
  19 H3462 And she made him sleep H1290 upon her knees; H7121 and she called H376 for a man, H1548 and she caused him to shave off H7651 the seven H4253 locks H7218 of his head; H2490 and she began H6031 to afflict H3581 him, and his strength H5493 went from him.
  20 H559 And she said, H6430 The Philistines H8123 be upon you, Samson. H3364 And he awoke H8142 out of his sleep, H559 and said, H3318 I will go out H6471 as at other times before, H5287 and shake H3045 myself. And he knew H3068 not that the Lord H5493 was departed from him.
  21 H6430 But the Philistines H270 took H5365 him, and put out H5869 his eyes, H3381 and brought him down H5804 to Gaza, H631 and bound H5178 him with fetters of brass; H2912 and he did grind H631 in the prison H1004 house.
  22 H8181 But the hair H7218 of his head H2490 began H6779 to grow again H834 after H1548 he was shaven.
  23 H5633 Then the lords H6430 of the Philistines H622 gathered them together H2076 for to offer H1419 a great H2077 sacrifice H1712 unto Dagon H430 their god, H8057 and to rejoice: H559 for they said, H430 Our god H5414 has delivered H8123 Samson H341 our enemy H3027 into our hand.
  24 H5971 And when the people H7200 saw H1984 him, they praised H430 their god: H559 for they said, H430 Our god H5414 has delivered H3027 into our hands H341 our enemy, H2717 and the destroyer H776 of our country, H2491 which killed H7235 many of us.
  25 H3820 And it came to pass, when their hearts H2896 were merry, H559 that they said, H7121 Call H8123 for Samson, H7832 that he may make us sport. H7121 And they called H8123 for Samson H631 out of the prison H1004 house; H6440 and he made them H6711 sport: H5975 and they set H5982 him between the pillars.
  26 H8123 And Samson H559 said H5288 unto the lad H2388 that held H3027 him by the hand, H3240 Allow H4184 me to feel H5982 the pillars H1004 whereupon the house H3559 stands, H8172 that I may lean upon them.
  27 H1004 Now the house H4390 was full H582 of men H802 and women; H5633 and all the lords H6430 of the Philistines H1406 were there; and there were upon the roof H7969 about three H505 thousand H376 men H802 and women, H7200 that looked H8123 while Samson H7832 made sport.
  28 H8123 And Samson H7121 called H3068 unto the Lord, H559 and said, H136 O Lord H3069 God, H2142 remember H2388 me, I pray you, and strengthen H6471 me, I pray you, only this once, H430 O God, H259 that I may be at once H5358 avenged H6430 of the Philistines H8147 for my two H5869 eyes.
  29 H8123 And Samson H3943 took hold H8147 of the two H8432 middle H5982 pillars H1004 upon which the house H3559 stood, H5564 and on which it was borne up, H259 of the one H3225 with his right hand, H259 and of the other H8040 with his left.
  30 H8123 And Samson H559 said, H4191 Let me die H6430 with the Philistines. H5186 And he bowed H3581 himself with all his might; H1004 and the house H5307 fell H5633 upon the lords, H5971 and upon all the people H4191 that were in it. So the dead H4191 which he killed H4194 at his death H7227 were more H4191 than they which he killed H2416 in his life.
  31 H251 Then his brothers H1004 and all the house H1 of his father H3381 came down, H5375 and took H5927 him, and brought him up, H6912 and buried H6881 him between Zorah H847 and Eshtaol H6913 in the buryingplace H4495 of Manoah H1 his father. H8199 And he judged H3478 Israel H6242 twenty H8141 years.
