Joshua 5:1-15 And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, which were on the side of Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, which were by the sea, heard that the Lord had dried up the waters of Jordan from before the sons of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the sons of Israel.

2 H6256 At that time H3068 the Lord H559 said H3091 unto Joshua, H6213 Make H6697 you sharp H2719 knives, H4135 and circumcise H7725 again H1121 the sons H3478 of Israel H8145 the second time.

3 H3091 And Joshua H6213 made H6697 him sharp H2719 knives, H4135 and circumcised H1121 the sons H3478 of Israel H1389 at the hill H6190 of the foreskins.

8 H8552 And it came to pass, when they had done H4135 circumcising H1471 all the people, H3427 that they lived H4264 in their places in the camp, H2421 until they were whole.

9 H3068 And the Lord H559 said H3091 unto Joshua, H3117 This day H1556 have I rolled away H2781 the reproach H4714 of Egypt H8034 from off you. Why the name H4725 of the place H7121 is called H1537 Gilgal H3117 unto this day.

15 H8269 And the captain H3068 of the Lord's H6635 host H559 said H3091 unto Joshua, H5394 Loose H5275 your shoe H7272 from off your foot; H4725 for the place H5975 whereon you stand H6944 is holy. H3091 And Joshua H6213 did so.
