John 17:6-26 I revealed Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, and to Me You gave them, and they have kept Your word.

BLB⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁶ I revealed Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, and to Me You gave them, and they have kept Your word. ⁷ Now they have known that all things You have given Me are of You. ⁸ For the words that You have given Me I have given them, and they received them, and knew truly that I came forth from You; and they believed that You sent Me. ⁹ I am praying concerning them. I do not pray concerning the world, but concerning those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. ¹⁰ And all things of mine are Yours, and Yours Mine. And I have been glorified in them. ¹¹ And I am no longer in the world, and yet they are themselves in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, which You have given Me, that they may be one as we are. ¹² When I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name, which You have given Me. And I guarded them, and none of them has perished, except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. ¹³ But now I am coming to You, and I speak these things in the world, so that they may have My joy fulfilled within them. ¹⁴ I have given them Your word, and the world hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. ¹⁵ I do not ask that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from evil. ¹⁶ They are not of the world, as I am not of the world. ¹⁷ Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth. ¹⁸ As You sent Me into the world, I also sent them into the world; ¹⁹ and for them I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth. ²⁰ But I do not ask for these only, but also for those believing in Me through their word, ²¹ that all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. ²² And I have given them the glory which You have given Me, so that they may be one, as We are one— ²³ I in them, and You in Me—that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me and loved them even as You loved Me. ²⁴ Father, those whom You have given Me, I desire that they also may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory that You gave Me because You loved Me before the foundation of the world. ²⁵ Righteous Father, although the world has not known You, yet I have known You, and these have known that You sent Me. ²⁶ And I made known to them Your name, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”
