1 The elder, To Gaius the beloved, whom I love in truth.
2 Beloved, I pray you to prosper concerning all things and to be in good health, just as your soul prospers.
3 For I rejoiced exceedingly of the brothers coming and bearing witness of your truth, just as you are walking in truth.
4 I have no greater joy than these things, that I should hear of my children walking in the truth.
5 Beloved, you are doing faithfully whatever you might have done toward the brothers, and they are strangers,
6 who testified of your love before the church, whom you will do well having set forward worthily of God.
