6 Οἱ (-) δὲ (And) ἀρχιερεῖς (the chief priests), λαβόντες (having taken) τὰ (the) ἀργύρια (pieces of silver), εἶπαν (said), “Οὐκ (Not) ἔξεστιν (it is lawful) βαλεῖν (to put) αὐτὰ (them) εἰς (into) τὸν (the) κορβανᾶν (treasury), ἐπεὶ (since
the) τιμὴ (price) αἵματός (of blood) ἐστιν (it is).”
