Matthew 23:23-25 Οὐαὶ (Woe) ὑμῖν (to you), γραμματεῖς (scribes) καὶ (and) Φαρισαῖοι (Pharisees), ὑποκριταί (hypocrites)! ὅτι (For) ἀποδεκατοῦτε (you pay tithes of) τὸ (-) ἡδύοσμον (mint), καὶ (and) τὸ (-) ἄνηθον (dill), καὶ (and) τὸ (-) κύμινον (cumin); καὶ (and) ἀφήκατε (you have neglected) τὰ (the) βαρύτερα (weightier matters) τοῦ (of the) νόμου (law): τὴν (-) κρίσιν (justice) καὶ (and) τὸ (-) ἔλεος (mercy) καὶ (and) τὴν (-) πίστιν (faithfulness). ταῦτα (These) δὲ (now) ἔδει (it behooved you) ποιῆσαι (to do), κἀκεῖνα (those) μὴ (not) ἀφιέναι* (to be leaving aside).
