BIB(i) 42 Τῶν (Of the) δὲ (now) στρατιωτῶν (soldiers), βουλὴ (the plan) ἐγένετο (was) ἵνα (that) τοὺς (the) δεσμώτας (prisoners) ἀποκτείνωσιν (they should kill), μή (lest) τις (anyone), ἐκκολυμβήσας (having swum away), διαφύγῃ (should escape).
