Luke 22:39-46

Anderson(i) 39 And after he had gone out, he went, according to custom, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples followed him. 40 And when he came to the place, he said to them: Pray, that you enter not into temptation. 41 And he withdrew from them about a stone's throw, and kneeled down, and prayed, 42 saying: Father, if thou art willing that this cup should pass from me yet, not my will, but thine be done. 43 And there appeared to him an angel from heaven, to strengthen him. 44 And he was in agony, and prayed more earnestly. And his sweat was like great drops of blood falling to the ground. 45 And he arose from prayer, and came to his disciples, and found them asleep for sorrow. 46 And he said to them: Why do you sleep? Arise and pray, lest you enter into temptation.
