AUV⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁸ How is it then, that we are hearing them speak in our own native languages: ⁹ Parthians, Medes, Elamites, people from Mesopotamia, Judea, Cappodocia, Pontus, Asia, ¹⁰ Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt and areas of Libya around Cyrene, Jewish and proselyte travelers from Rome, ¹¹ Cretans and Arabians. How can it be that we hear [these apostles] speaking about the mighty accomplishments of God in the language of our national origin?
