Jeremiah 3:1-9 They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, will he return unto her again? will not that land be greatly polluted? But thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith Jehovah.

2 H5375 Lift up H5869 thine eyes H8205 unto the bare heights, H7200 and see; H375 where H7693 hast thou not been lain H1870 with? By the ways H3427 hast thou sat H6163 for them, as an Arabian H4057 in the wilderness; H2610 and thou hast polluted H776 the land H2184 with thy whoredoms H7451 and with thy wickedness.

3 H7241 Therefore the showers H4513 have been withholden, H4456 and there hath been no latter rain; H2181 yet thou hast a harlot's H4696 forehead, H3985 thou refusedst H3637 to be ashamed.

4 H7121 Wilt thou not from this time cry H1 unto me, My Father, H441 thou art the guide H5271 of my youth?

8 H7200 And I saw, H182 when, for this very cause H4878 that backsliding H3478 Israel H5003 had committed adultery, H7971 I had put her away H5414 and given H5612 her a bill H3748 of divorcement, H898 yet treacherous H3063 Judah H269 her sister H3372 feared H3212 not; but she also went H2181 and played the harlot.

9 H6963 And it came to pass through the lightness H2184 of her whoredom, H776 that the land H2610 was polluted, H5003 and she committed adultery H68 with stones H6086 and with stocks.
