Ezekiel 20:21-24 But the children rebelled against me; they walked not in my statutes, neither kept mine ordinances to do them, which if a man do, he shall live in them; they profaned my sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.

22 H7725 Nevertheless I withdrew H3027 my hand, H6213 and wrought H8034 for my name's H2490 sake, that it should not be profaned H5869 in the sight H1471 of the nations, H5869 in whose sight H3318 I brought them forth.

23 H3027 Moreover I sware H5375 unto H4057 them in the wilderness, H6327 that I would scatter H1471 them among the nations, H2219 and disperse H776 them through the countries;

24 H6213 because they had not executed H4941 mine ordinances, H3988 but had rejected H2708 my statutes, H2490 and had profaned H7676 my sabbaths, H5869 and their eyes H310 were after H1 their fathers' H1544 idols.
