2 G2532 And G749 the chief priests G2532 and G4413 the principal G2453 men of the Jews G1718 informed G846 him G2596 against G3972 Paul; G2532 and G3870 they besought G846 him,

3 G154 asking G5485 a favor G2596 against G846 him, G3704 that G3343 he would send for G846 him G1519 to G2419 Jerusalem; G4160 laying G1747 a plot G337 to kill G846 him G2596 on G3598 the way.

4 G3767 Howbeit G3303 G5347 Festus G611 answered, G3972 that Paul G3195 was G5083 kept G1722 in charge at G2542 Caesarea, G1161 and G1438 that he himself G1607 was about to depart G1722 G5034 thither shortly.

5 G3588 Let them G3767 therefore, G5346 saith he, G3588 that G1415 are of power G1722 among G5213 you G4782 go down with G1487 me, and if G2076 there is G5100 anything G1722 amiss G3588 in G5129 the man, G846 let them accuse G2723 G846 him.

6 G1161 And G1304 when he had tarried G1722 among G846 them G4119 not more G2228 than G1176 eight or ten G2250 days, G2597 he went down G1519 unto G2542 Caesarea; G1887 and on the morrow G2523 he sat G1909 on G968 the judgment-seat, G2753 and commanded G3972 Paul G71 to be brought.

8 G3754 while G626 Paul said G846 in his G3777 defense, Neither G1519 against G3551 the law G2453 of the Jews, G3777 nor G1519 against G2411 the temple, G3777 nor G1519 against G2541 Caesar, G264 have I sinned G5100 at all.

9 G1161 But G5347 Festus, G2309 desiring G2698 to gain G5485 favor G2453 with the Jews, G611 answered G3972 Paul G2036 and said, G2309 Wilt thou G305 go up G1519 to G2414 Jerusalem, G1563 and there G2919 be judged G4012 of G5130 these things G1909 before G1700 me?

10 G1161 But G3972 Paul G2036 said, G1510 I G2476 am standing G1909 before G2541 Caesar's G968 judgment-seat, G3757 where G3165 I G1163 ought G2919 to be judged: G2453 to the Jews G91 have I done G3762 no G91 wrong, G5613 as G4771 thou G2532 also G2566 very well G1921 knowest.
