1 Chronicles 22:6-13 Then he called for Solomon his son, and charged him to build a house for Jehovah, the God of Israel.

7 H1732 And David H559 said H8010 to Solomon H1121 his son, H3824 As for me, it was in my heart H1129 to build H1004 a house H8034 unto the name H3068 of Jehovah H430 my God.

8 H1697 But the word H3068 of Jehovah H559 came to me, saying, H8210 Thou hast shed H1818 blood H7230 abundantly, H6213 and hast made H1419 great H4421 wars: H1129 thou shalt not build H1004 a house H8034 unto my name, H8210 because thou hast shed H7227 much H1818 blood H776 upon the earth H6440 in my sight.

9 H1121 Behold, a son H3205 shall be born H376 to thee, who shall be a man H4496 of rest; H5117 and I will give him rest H341 from all his enemies H5439 round about; H8034 for his name H8010 shall be Solomon, H5414 and I will give H7965 peace H8253 and quietness H3478 unto Israel H3117 in his days:

10 H1129 he shall build H1004 a house H8034 for my name; H1121 and he shall be my son, H1 and I will be his father; H3559 and I will establish H3678 the throne H4438 of his kingdom H3478 over Israel H5704 for H5769 ever.

11 H1121 Now, my son, H3068 Jehovah H6743 be with thee; and prosper H1129 thou, and build H1004 the house H3068 of Jehovah H430 thy God, H1696 as he hath spoken concerning thee.

12 H3068 Only Jehovah H5414 give H7922 thee discretion H998 and understanding, H6680 and give thee charge H3478 concerning Israel; H8104 that so thou mayest keep H8451 the law H3068 of Jehovah H430 thy God.

13 H6743 Then shalt thou prosper, H8104 if thou observe H6213 to do H2706 the statutes H4941 and the ordinances H3068 which Jehovah H6680 charged H4872 Moses H3478 with concerning Israel: H2388 be strong, H553 and of good courage; H3372 fear H2865 not, neither be dismayed.
