Exodus 16:4-15 Then said the LORD to Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.

6 H4872 And Moses H175 and Aaron H559 said H3605 to all H1121 the children H3478 of Israel, H6153 At even, H3045 then you shall know H3068 that the LORD H3318 has brought H776 you out from the land H4714 of Egypt:

10 H1961 And it came H175 to pass, as Aaron H1696 spoke H3605 to the whole H5712 congregation H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel, H6437 that they looked H413 toward H4057 the wilderness, H2009 and, behold, H3519 the glory H3068 of the LORD H7200 appeared H6051 in the cloud.

11 H3068 And the LORD H1696 spoke H4872 to Moses, H559 saying,

12 H8085 I have heard H8519 the murmurings H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel: H1696 speak H559 to them, saying, H996 At H6153 even H398 you shall eat H1320 flesh, H1242 and in the morning H7646 you shall be filled H3899 with bread; H3045 and you shall know H3068 that I am the LORD H430 your God.

13 H1961 And it came H6153 to pass, that at even H7958 the quails H5927 came H3680 up, and covered H4264 the camp: H1242 and in the morning H2919 the dew H7902 lay H5439 round H4264 about the host.

14 H2919 And when the dew H7902 that lay H5927 was gone H2009 up, behold, H6440 on the face H4057 of the wilderness H1851 there lay a small H2636 round H1851 thing, as small H3713 as the hoar H3713 frost H5921 on H776 the ground.

15 H1121 And when the children H3478 of Israel H7200 saw H559 it, they said H376 one H251 to another, H4478 It is manna: H3045 for they knew H4100 not what H4872 it was. And Moses H559 said H1931 to them, This H3899 is the bread H834 which H3068 the LORD H5414 has given H402 you to eat.
