2 Samuel 7:2-17

  2 H4428 That the king H559 said H5416 to Nathan H5030 the prophet, H7200 See H4994 now, H3427 I dwell H1004 in an house H730 of cedar, H727 but the ark H430 of God H3427 dwells H8432 within H3407 curtains.
  3 H5416 And Nathan H559 said H4428 to the king, H3212 Go, H6213 do H3605 all H3824 that is in your heart; H3068 for the LORD is with you.
  4 H1961 And it came H3915 to pass that night, H1697 that the word H3068 of the LORD H1961 came H5416 to Nathan, H559 saying,
  5 H3212 Go H559 and tell H5650 my servant H1732 David, H3541 Thus H559 said H3068 the LORD, H1129 Shall you build H1004 me an house H3427 for me to dwell in?
  6 H3588 Whereas H3427 I have not dwelled H1004 in any house H3117 since the time H5927 that I brought H1121 up the children H3478 of Israel H4714 out of Egypt, H2088 even to this H3117 day, H1980 but have walked H168 in a tent H4908 and in a tabernacle.
  7 H3605 In all H834 the places wherein H1980 I have walked H3605 with all H1121 the children H3478 of Israel H1696 spoke H1697 I a word H259 with any H7626 of the tribes H3478 of Israel, H834 whom H6680 I commanded H7462 to feed H5971 my people H3478 Israel, H559 saying, H4100 Why H1129 build H1004 you not me an house H730 of cedar?
  8 H6258 Now H559 therefore so shall you say H5650 to my servant H1732 David, H3541 Thus H559 said H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts, H3947 I took H5116 you from the sheepcote, H310 from following H6629 the sheep, H5057 to be ruler H5921 over H5971 my people, H5921 over H3478 Israel:
  9 H3605 And I was with you wherever H834 H1980 you went, H3772 and have cut H3605 off all H341 your enemies H6440 out of your sight, H6213 and have made H1419 you a great H8034 name, H8034 like to the name H1419 of the great H776 men that are in the earth.
  10 H7760 Moreover I will appoint H4725 a place H5971 for my people H3478 Israel, H5193 and will plant H7931 them, that they may dwell H8478 in a place H7264 of their own, and move H3808 no H5750 more; H3808 neither H1121 shall the children H5766 of wickedness H6031 afflict H3254 them any more, H7223 as beforetime,
  11 H4480 And as since H3117 the time H6680 that I commanded H8199 judges H5921 to be over H5971 my people H3478 Israel, H5117 and have caused you to rest H3605 from all H341 your enemies. H3068 Also the LORD H5046 tells H6213 you that he will make H1004 you an house.
  12 H3588 And when H3117 your days H4390 be fulfilled, H7901 and you shall sleep H1 with your fathers, H6965 I will set H2233 up your seed H310 after H834 you, which H3318 shall proceed H4578 out of your bowels, H3559 and I will establish H4467 his kingdom.
  13 H1129 He shall build H1004 an house H8034 for my name, H3559 and I will establish H3678 the throne H4467 of his kingdom H5769 for ever.
  14 H1 I will be his father, H1121 and he shall be my son. H834 If H5753 he commit H5753 iniquity, H3198 I will chasten H7626 him with the rod H582 of men, H5061 and with the stripes H1121 of the children H120 of men:
  15 H2617 But my mercy H5493 shall not depart H5493 away from him, as I took H7586 it from Saul, H834 whom H5493 I put H5493 away H6440 before you.
  16 H1004 And your house H4467 and your kingdom H539 shall be established H5769 for ever H6440 before H3678 you: your throne H3559 shall be established H5769 for ever.
  17 H3605 According to all H428 these H1697 words, H3605 and according to all H2088 this H2384 vision, H3651 so H5416 did Nathan H1696 speak H1732 to David.
