2 Samuel 21:3-14 Why David said to the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and with which shall I make the atonement, that you may bless the inheritance of the LORD?

3 H1732 Why David H559 said H1393 to the Gibeonites, H4100 What H6213 shall I do H4100 for you? and with which H3722 shall I make the atonement, H1288 that you may bless H5159 the inheritance H3068 of the LORD?

4 H1393 And the Gibeonites H559 said H369 to him, We will have no H3701 silver H2091 nor gold H7586 of Saul, H1004 nor of his house; H369 neither H4191 for us shall you kill H376 any man H3478 in Israel. H559 And he said, H4100 What H559 you shall say, H6213 that will I do for you.

5 H559 And they answered H4428 the king, H376 The man H3615 that consumed H1819 us, and that devised H8045 against us that we should be destroyed H3320 from remaining H3605 in any H1366 of the coasts H3478 of Israel,

6 H7651 Let seven H582 men H1121 of his sons H5414 be delivered H3363 to us, and we will hang H3068 them up to the LORD H1390 in Gibeah H7586 of Saul, H3068 whom the LORD H972 did choose. H4428 And the king H559 said, H5414 I will give them.

9 H5414 And he delivered H3027 them into the hands H1393 of the Gibeonites, H3363 and they hanged H2022 them in the hill H6440 before H3068 the LORD: H5307 and they fell H7651 all seven H3162 together, H4191 and were put to death H7105 in the days of harvest, H7223 in the first H8462 days, in the beginning H8184 of barley H7105 harvest.

10 H7532 And Rizpah H1323 the daughter H345 of Aiah H3947 took H8242 sackcloth, H5186 and spread H6697 it for her on the rock, H8462 from the beginning H7105 of harvest H5704 until H4325 water H5413 dropped H8064 on them out of heaven, H5414 and suffered H3808 neither H5775 the birds H8064 of the air H5117 to rest H5921 on H3119 them by day, H2416 nor the beasts H7704 of the field H3915 by night.

11 H5046 And it was told H1732 David H853 what H834 H7532 Rizpah H1323 the daughter H345 of Aiah, H6370 the concubine H7586 of Saul, H6213 had done.

12 H1732 And David H3212 went H3947 and took H6106 the bones H7586 of Saul H6106 and the bones H3083 of Jonathan H1121 his son H1167 from the men H3003 of Jabeshgilead, H1568 H834 which H1589 had stolen H7339 them from the street H1052 of Bethshan, H834 where H8033 H6430 the Philistines H8511 had hanged H3117 them, when H6430 the Philistines H5221 had slain H7586 Saul H1533 in Gilboa:

13 H5927 And he brought H8033 up from there H6106 the bones H7586 of Saul H6106 and the bones H3083 of Jonathan H1121 his son; H622 and they gathered H6106 the bones H3363 of them that were hanged.

14 H6106 And the bones H7586 of Saul H3083 and Jonathan H1121 his son H6912 buried H776 they in the country H1144 of Benjamin H6762 in Zelah, H6913 in the sepulcher H7027 of Kish H1 his father: H6213 and they performed H3605 all H4428 that the king H6680 commanded. H310 And after H430 that God H6279 was entreated H776 for the land.
