John 6:38-40 Because I have come down from heaven, not so that I might do my will, but the will of him who sent me.

ACV⁽ⁱ⁾ ³⁸ Because I have come down from heaven, not so that I might do my will, but the will of him who sent me. ³⁹ And this is the will of the Father who sent me, that of all that he has given me I would not lose from it, but I will raise it up at the last day. ⁴⁰ And this is the will of him who sent me, that every man who sees the Son, and believes in him, may have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
