ACV⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁴ And those who heard lifted up a voice to God with one accord, and said, Thou Master, the God who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and all things in them. ²⁵ He who said through the mouth of thy boy David, Why do the nations rage, and the peoples meditate vain things? ²⁶ The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together, against the Lord, and against his Christ. ²⁷ For in truth, against thy holy Boy Jesus, whom thou anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, were gathered together, ²⁸ to do as many things as thy hand and thy purpose predetermined to happen. ²⁹ And now, Lord, look upon their threats, and grant to thy bondmen with all boldness to speak thy word, ³⁰ by thy stretching forth thy hand for healing, and signs and wonders to happen through the name of thy holy Boy Jesus. ³¹ And when they prayed, the place in which they were assembled was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
