Luke 14:26-33

ABU(i) 26 If any one comes to me, and hates not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brothers, and sisters, and even his own life besides, he can not be my disciple. 27 And whoever does not bear his cross, and come after me, can not be my disciple. 28 For who of you, intending to build a tower, does not first sit down, and count the cost, whether he has sufficient to finish it? 29 Lest haply, when he has laid a foundation, and is not able to finish, all that behold begin to mock him, 30 saying: This man began to build, and was not able to finish. 31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not first sit down and consult, whether he is able, with ten thousand, to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? 32 Else, while he is yet a great way off, he sends an embassy, and desires conditions of peace. 33 So then, whoever of you forsakes not all that he has can not be my disciple.
