Judges 9:8-20

  8 G4198 In going, G4198 [³went forth G3588 ¹the G3586 ²trees] G3588   G5548 to anoint G1909 for G1438 themselves G935 a king. G2532 And G2036 they said G3588 to the G1636 olive tree, G936 You reign G1909 over G1473 us!

  9 G2532 And G2036 [³said G1473 ⁴to them G3588 ¹the G1636 ²olive tree], G863 Allowing G3588   G4096 my fatness G1473   G3739 which G1722 [³in G1473 ⁴me G1392 ²glorified G3588   G2316 ¹God], G2532 and G3588   G444 men, G4198 shall I go G756 to rule G1909 over G3588 the G3586 trees?

  10 G2532 And G2036 [³said G3588 ¹the G3586 ²trees] G3588 to the G4808 fig-tree, G1204 Come, G936 you reign G1909 over G1473 us!

  11 G2532 And G2036 [²said G1473 ³to them G3588   G4808 ¹ the fig-tree], G863 Allowing G3588   G1099.1 my sweetness G1473   G2532 and G3588   G1081 [³produce G1473 ¹my G3588   G18 ²good], G4198 should I go G756 to rule G3588 the G3586 trees?

  12 G2532 And G2036 [³said G3588 ¹the G3586 ²trees] G3588 to the G288 grapevine, G1204 Come, G936 you reign G1473   G1909 over G1473 us!

  13 G2532 And G2036 [³said G1473 ⁴to them G3588 ¹the G288 ²grapevine], G863 Allowing G3588   G3631 my wine, G1473   G3588 the G2167 gladness G3588   G2316 of God, G2532 and G3588 of the ones G444 of men, G4198 should I go G756 to rule G1909 over G3588 the G3586 trees?

  14 G2532 And G2036 [⁴said G3956 ¹all G3588 ²the G3586 ³trees] G4314 to G3588 the G4471.2 white-thorn shrub, G1204 Come, G1473 You G936 reign G1909 over G1473 us!

  18 G2532 and G1473 you G1881 rose up G1909 against G3588 the G3624 house G3588   G3962 of my father G1473   G4594 today, G2532 and G615 you killed G3588   G5207 his sons, G1473   G1440 seventy G435 men G1909 upon G3037 [²stone G1520 ¹one]; G2532 and G936 you gave reign to G3588   G* Abimelech G5207 the son G3588   G3814 of his maidservant G1473   G1909 over G3588 the G435 men G* of Shechem, G3754 because G80 [²your brother G1473   G1510.2.3 ¹he is];

  19 G2532 and G1487 if G1722 [²in G225 ³truth G2532 ⁴and G5047 ⁵perfection G4160 ¹you acted] G3326 with G* Jerubbaal, G2532 and G3588   G3624 his house G1473   G1722 in G3588   G2250 this day, G3778   G2165 may you be glad G1722 in G* Abimelech, G2532 and G2165 may he be glad G2532 also G1065 indeed G1473 himself G1722 in G1473 you.

  20 G1487 If not, G3361   G1831 may [²come forth G4442 ¹fire] G1537 from G* Abimelech, G2532 and G2719 devour G3588 the G435 men G* of Shechem, G2532 and G3588 the G3624 house G* Millo; G2532 and G1831 may [²come forth G4442 ¹fire] G575 from G435 the men G* of Shechem, G2532 and G1537 from out of G3588 the G3624 house G* of Millo, G2532 and G2719 devour G3588   G* Abimelech.
