Jeremiah 26:1-24

  2 G3779 Thus G2036 said G2962 the lord, G2476 Stand G1722 in G833 the courtyard G3624 of the house G2962 of the lord! G2532 and G5537 you shall execute an order G3956 to all G* Judah, G3588 to the ones G2064 coming G4352 to do obeisance G1722 in G3624 the house G2962 of the lord, G537 all G3588 the G3056 words G3739 which G4929 I ordered G1473 to you G5537 to execute G1473 to them; G3361 you should not G851 remove G4487 a thing.

  3 G2481 Perhaps G191 they shall hear, G2532 and G654 shall be turned G1538 each G575 from G3588   G3598 [³way G1473 ¹his G3588   G4190 ²evil], G2532 and G3973 I will cease G575 from G3588 the G2556 bad things G3739 which G1473 I G3049 devise G3588   G4160 to do G1473 to them G1752 because of G3588   G4190 [²evil G2006.1 ³practices G1473 ¹their].

  4 G2532 And G2046 you shall say, G3779 Thus G2036 said G2962 the lord, G1437 If G3361 you should not G191 hearken to G1473 me G3588   G4198 to go G1722 by G3588   G3544.1 my laws G1473   G3739 which G1325 I put G4253 before G4383 your face, G1473  

  5 G1522 to listen to G3588 the G3056 words G3588   G3816 of my servants G1473   G3588 the G4396 prophets G3739 whom G1473 I G649 sent G4314 to G1473 you G3722 at dawn, G2532 (for G649 I sent, G2532 and G3756 you hearkened not to G1522   G1473 me;)

  6 G2532 then G1325 I will appoint G3588   G3624 this house G3778   G5618 as G* Shiloh, G2532 and G3588   G3778 this city G4172   G1325 I will appoint G1519 for G2671 a curse G3956 to all G3588 the G1484 nations G3588 of the G1093 earth.

  7 G2532 And G191 they heard G3588 (the G2409 priests, G2532 and G3588 the G5578 false prophets, G2532 and G3956 all G3588 the G2992 people) G3588   G* Jeremiah G2980 speaking G3588   G3056 these words G3778   G1722 in G3624 the house G2962 of the lord .

  8 G2532 And G1096 it came to pass G* of Jeremiah G3973 ceasing G2980 speaking G3956 all G3739 which G4929 the lord ordered G2962   G1473 to him G2980 to say G3956 to all G3588 the G2992 people, G2532 that G4815 they seized G1473 him -- G3588 the G2409 priests, G2532 and G3588 the G5578 false prophets, G2532 and G3956 all G3588 the G2992 people, G3004 saying, G2288 To death G599 he shall die,

  9 G3754 for G4395 you prophesied G3588 in the G3686 name G2962 of the lord, G3004 saying, G5618 [³as G* ⁴Shiloh G1510.8.3 ²will be G3588   G3624 ¹This house], G3778   G2532 and G3588   G4172 this city G3778   G2049 shall be made desolate G575 of G2730 ones dwelling it . G2532 And G1826.1 [⁴held an assembly G3956 ¹all G3588 ²the G2992 ³people] G1909 against G* Jeremiah G1722 in G3624 the house G2962 of the lord .

  10 G2532 And G191 [⁴heard G3588 ¹the G758 ²rulers G* ³of Judah] G3588   G3056 these words, G3778   G2532 and G305 they ascended G1537 from G3624 the house G3588 of the G935 king G1519 unto G3624 the house G2962 of the lord; G2532 and G2523 they sat G1722 in G4290.1 the thresholds G4439 [³gate G2962 ⁴ of the lord G3588 ¹of the G2537 ²new].

  11 G2532 And G2036 [⁶said G3588 ¹the G2409 ²priests G2532 ³and G3588 ⁴the G5578 ⁵false prophets] G4314 to G3588 the G758 rulers, G2532 and G3956 to all G3588 the G2992 people, G2920 The judgment G2288 of death belongs G3588   G444 to this man, G3778   G3754 for G4395 he prophesied G2596 against G3588   G4172 this city, G3778   G2531 as G191 you heard G1722 with G3588   G3775 your ears.   12 G2532 And G2036 Jeremiah said G*   G4314 to G3956 all G3588 the G758 rulers, G2532 and G3956 to all G3588 the G2992 people, G3004 saying, G2962 The lord G649 sent G1473 me G4395 to prophesy G1909 against G3588   G3624 this house G3778   G2532 and G1909 against G3588   G4172 this city G3778   G3956 all G3588 the G3056 words G3739 which G191 you heard.

  13 G2532 And G3568 now, G957 [³better G4160 ¹you make G3588   G3598 ²your ways], G1473   G2532 and G3588   G2041 your works, G1473   G2532 and G191 hearken G3588 to the G5456 voice G2962 of the lord G3588   G2316 your God! G1473   G2532 and G3973 the lord will cease G2962   G575 from G3588 the G2556 evils G3739 which G2980 he spoke G1909 against G1473 you.

  14 G2532 And G2400 behold, G1473 I am G1722 in G5495 your hands; G1473   G4160 do G1473 to me G5613 as G4851 is advantageous G1473 to you, G2532 and G5613 as G957 best G1473 for you!

  15 G237.1 But only G1097 in knowing G1097 know! G3754 that G1487 if G337 you do away with G1473 me, G129 [⁴blood G121 ³innocent G1473 ¹you G1325 ²have imputed] G1909 against G1473 you, G2532 and G1909 against G3588   G4172 this city, G3778   G2532 and G1909 against G3588 the ones G2730 dwelling G1722 in G1473 it.   16 G2532 And G2036 [⁷said G3588 ¹the G758 ²rulers G2532 ³and G3956 ⁴all G3588 ⁵the G2992 ⁶people] G4314 to G3588 the G2409 priests G2532 and G4314 to G3588 the G5578 false prophets; G3756 There is not due G1510.2.3   G3588 to G444 this man G3778   G2920 a judgment G2288 of death, G3754 for G1909 upon G3588 the G3686 name G2962 of the lord G3588   G2316 our God G1473   G2980 he spoke G4314 to G1473 us.

  17 G2532 And G450 there rose up G435 men G3588 of the G4245 elders G3588 of the G1093 land, G2532 and G2036 they said G3956 to all G3588 the G4864 gathering G3588   G2992 of people, G3004 saying,

  18 G* Micah G3588 the G* Morasthite G1510.7.3 was G4396 a prophet G1722 in G3588 the G2250 days G* of Hezekiah G935 king G* of Judah, G2532 and G2036 he spoke G3956 to all G3588 the G2992 people G* of Judah, G3004 saying, G3779 Thus G2036 said G2962 the lord G3588 of the G1411 forces; G* Zion G5613 [²as G68 ³a field G722 ¹shall be plowed], G2532 and G* Jerusalem G1519 [²for G3703.1 ³a storehouse of fruits G1510.8.3 ¹will be], G2532 and G3588 the G3735 mountain G3588 of the G3624 house G1519 shall be turned into G251.1 a sacred G1409.1 grove.

  19 G3361 Did, G337 by doing away, G337 [⁷do away with G1473 ⁸him G* ¹Hezekiah G935 ²king G* ³of Judah G2532 ⁴and G3956 ⁵all G* ⁶Judah]? G3756 Was it not G5399 they feared G3588   G2962 the lord, G2532 and G1189 they beseeched G3588   G4383 in front G2962 of the lord, G2532 and G3973 the lord ceased G2962   G575 from G3588 the G2556 evils G3739 which G2980 he spoke G1909 against G1473 them? G2532 And G1473 we G4160 did G2556 [²evils G3173 ¹great] G1909 against G5590 our souls. G1473  

  20 G2532 And G444 there was another man G1510.7.3   G4395 prophesying G3588 in the G3686 name G2962 of the lord, G* Urijah G5207 son G* of Shemaiah G1537 from G* Kirjath-jearim; G2532 and G4395 he prophesied G4012 concerning G3588   G4172 this city, G3778   G2532 and G4012 concerning G3588   G1093 this land G3778   G2596 according to G3956 all G3588 the G3056 words G* of Jeremiah.

  21 G2532 And G191 [⁷heard G3588   G935 ¹king G* ²Jehoiakim G2532 ³and G3956 ⁴all G3588 ⁵the G758 ⁶rulers] G3956 all G3588   G3056 his words, G1473   G2532 and G2212 sought G615 to kill G1473 him. G2532 And G191 Urijah heard G*   G2532 and G5399 feared G2532 and G5343 fled G2532 and G1525 entered G1519 into G* Egypt.

  22 G2532 And G1821 [³sent G3588 ¹the G935 ²king] G435 men G1519 into G* Egypt, G* Elnathan G5207 son G* of Achbor, G2532 and G435 men G3326 with G1473 him G1519 into G3588   G* Egypt.

  23 G2532 And G1806 they led him G1473   G1564 from there, G2532 and G1521 brought G1473 him G4314 to G3588 the G935 king; G2532 and G3960 he struck G1473 him G1722 by G3162 the sword, G2532 and G4495 tossed G1473 him G1519 into G3588 the G3418 tomb G5207 of the sons G2992 of his people. G1473
