2 Samuel 15:1-12

  1 G2532 And G1096 it came to pass G3326 after G3778 these things, G2532 that G4160 [²prepared G1438 ³for himself G* ¹Absalom] G716 chariots, G2532 and G2460 horsemen, G2532 and G4004 fifty G435 men G3908.1 to run along G1715 in front of G1473 him.

  2 G2532 And G3719 [²rose early G* ¹Absalom], G2532 and G2186 stood G1909 at G3588 the G3598 way G3588 of the G4439 gate. G2532 And G1096 it came to pass G3956 every G435 man G3739 in which G1096 had G2920 a case, G2532 and G2064 came G4314 to G3588 the G935 king G1519 for G2920 a judgment, G2532 that G2564 [²called G1473 ³him G* ¹Absalom], G2532 and G3004 said G1473 to him, G1537 From out of G4169 of what G4172 city G1473 are you? G1510.2.2   G2532 And G3004 he said, G1537 [² is from G1520 ³one G3588 ⁴of the G5443 ⁵tribes G* ⁶of Israel G3588   G1401 ¹your servant]. G1473  

  3 G2532 And G2036 [²said G4314 ³to G1473 ⁴him G3588   G* ¹Absalom], G2400 Behold, G3588   G3056 your words G1473   G18 are good G2532 and G2122.4 well-tempered; G2532 but G3588   G191 [³hearing G3756 ²no one G1510.2.3 ¹there is] G1473 you G3844 from G3588 the G935 king.

  4 G2532 And G2036 Absalom said, G*   G5100 Why G1473 shall he not place me G2525   G2923 for judge G1722 in G3588 the G1093 land, G2532 and G1909 [⁴to G1473 ⁵me G2064 ³shall come G3956 ¹every G435 ²man] G3739 to whom G302 ever G1510.3 there might be G485 a dispute, G2532 and G2920 a case, G2532 and G1344 I will do justice G1473 for him.

  5 G2532 And G1096 it came to pass G1722 when G3588 the G1448 [²approached G435 ¹man] G3588   G4352 to do obeisance G1473 to him, G2532 that G1614 he stretched out G3588   G5495 his hand, G1473   G2532 and G1949 took hold of G1473 him, G2532 and G2705 kissed G1473 him.

  6 G2532 And G4160 Absalom did G*   G2596 according to G3588   G4487 this thing G3778   G3956 to all G* Israel, G3588 to the G3854 ones coming G1519 for G2920 a judgment G4314 to G3588 the G935 king. G2532 And G2397.1 Absalom adopted G*   G3588 the G2588 heart G435 of the men G* of Israel.

  7 G2532 And G1096 it came to pass G575 at G5056 the end G5062 of forty G2094 years, G2532 that G2036 Absalom said G*   G4314 to G3588   G3962 his father, G1473   G4198 I will go G1211 indeed G2532 and G661 pay G3588   G2171 my vows G1473   G3739 which G2172 I vowed G3588 to the G2962 lord G1722 in G* Hebron.

  8 G3754 For G2171 [⁴a vow G2172 ³vowed G3588   G1401 ²servant G1473 ¹your] G1722 in G3588   G3611 my living G1473   G1722 in G* Geshur G1722 in G* Syria, G3004 saying, G1437 If G1994 in returning G1994 [³shall return G1473 ⁴me G3588 ¹the G2962 ² lord] G1519 to G* Jerusalem, G2532 then G3000 I will serve G3588 to the G2962 lord .

  9 G2532 And G2036 [³said G1473 ⁴to him G3588 ¹the G935 ²king], G897.2 Proceed G1519 in G1515 peace! G2532 And G450 rising up G4198 he went G1519 unto G* Hebron.

  10 G2532 And G649 Absalom sent G*   G2685 spies G1519 into G3956 all G3588 the G5443 tribes G3588   G* of Israel, G3004 saying, G1722 In G3588   G191 your hearing G1473   G3588 the G5456 sound G3588 of the G4536 trumpet, G2532 that G2046 you shall say, G936 [²reigns G* ¹Absalom] G1722 in G* Hebron.

  11 G2532 And G4198 [⁴went G3326 ⁵with G* ⁶Absalom G1250 ¹two hundred G435 ³men G1537 ⁷from out of G* ⁸Jerusalem G1945.1 ²chosen]; G2532 and G4198 they went G572 in simplicity, G2532 and G3756 they did not know G1492   G3762 not one G4487 thing.

  12 G2532 And G649 Absalom sent G*   G2532 and G2564 called G3588   G* Ahithophel G3588 the G* Gilonite, G4825 counselor G* to David, G1537 from out of G3588   G4172 his city G1473   G3588   G* Giloh, G1722 during G3588   G2380 his sacrificing G1473   G3588 the G2378 sacrifices. G2532 And G1096 there was G4961.1 [²confederation G2478 ¹a strong]. G2532 And G3588 the G2992 people G4198 went, G2532 and G4129 it multiplied G3326 with G* Absalom.
