1 Samuel 30 And it came to pass in the entering of David and of his men to Ziklag, on the third day, that Amalek made an attack upon the south, and upon Ziklag. And it struck Ziklag, and burnt it with fire.

3 G2532 And G2064 [⁴came G* ¹David G2532 ²and G3588 G435 ³his men] G1473 G1519 unto G3588 the G4172 city, G2532 and, G2400 behold, G1716.1 it was burnt G1722 with G4442 fire; G3588 G1161 and G1135 their wives, G1473 G2532 and G3588 G5207 their sons, G1473 G2532 and G3588 G2364 their daughters, G1473 G162 were taken captive.

4 G2532 And G142 [⁴lifted G* ¹David G2532 ²and G3588 G435 ³his men] G3588 G5456 their voice, G1473 G2532 and G2799 they wept G2193 until G3748 whenever G3756 there was no G1510.7.3 G2479 strength G1722 in G1473 them G3588 G2799 to weep G2089 any longer.

5 G2532 And G297 both G3588 the G1135 wives G* of David G162 were captured -- G* Ahinoam G3588 the G* Jezreelitess, G2532 and G* Abigail G3588 the G1135 wife G* of Nabal G3588 the G* Carmelite.

20 G2532 And G2983 David took G* G3956 all G3588 the G4168 flocks G2532 and G3588 the G1009.3 herds, G2532 and G520 led them away G1715 before G3588 the G4661 spoils. G2532 And G3588 concerning G4661 those spoils G1565 G3004 it was said, G3778 These are G3588 the G4661 spoils G* of David.

21 G2532 And G3854 David came G* G4314 to G3588 the G1250 two hundred G435 men G3588 (the ones G5275 being left behind G3588 of the troop G4198 going G3694 after G* David) G3739 that G2523 stayed G1722 at G3588 the G5493 rushing stream G* of Besor. 23 G2532 And G2036 David said, G* G3756 You shall not G4160 do G80 [²my brothers G1473 G3779 ¹thus] G3326 after G3588 the G3860 delivering up of the enemy G3588 by the G2962 lord G1473 to us, G2532 and G5442 guarded G1473 us, G2532 and G3860 the lord delivered up G2962 G3588 the G1065.1 troop, G3588 the G1904 one coming G1909 upon G1473 us, G1519 into G5495 our hands. G1473
