1 Samuel 12

  1 G2532 And G2036 Samuel said G*   G4314 to G3956 every G435 man G* of Israel, G2400 Behold, G191 I hearkened to G3588   G5456 your voice G1473   G1519 in G3956 all G3745 as many things as G2036 you said G1473 to me, G2532 and G936 I gave reign G1909 over G1473 you G935 a king.

  2 G2532 And G3568 now, G2400 behold, G3588 the G935 king G1279 travels G1799 before G1473 you. G2504 And I G1095 grow old G2532 and G2521 shall sit. G2532 And G2400 behold, G3588   G5207 my sons G1473   G1722 are among G1473 you. G2504 And I, G2400 behold, G1330 I have gone G1799 before G1473 you G1537 from G3503 my youth, G1473   G2532 and G2193 until G3588   G2250 this day. G3778  

  3 G2400 Behold, G1473 I am here . G611 You should respond G2596 against G1473 me G1799 before G2962 the lord, G2532 and G1799 before G3588   G5547 his anointed one. G1473   G3448 Whose calf G5100   G2983 have I taken? G2228 or G3688 whose donkey G5100   G2983 have I taken? G2228 or G5100 who G1473 of you G2616 have I tyrannized over?   4 G2532 And G2036 they said G4314 to G* Samuel, G3756 You did not G91 wrong G1473 us, G2532 and G3756 you did not G2616 tyrannize over G1473 us, G2532 and G3756 you have not G2983 taken G1537 from G5495 [²hand G3762 ¹anyone's] -- G3762 not one thing .

  5 G2532 And G2036 Samuel said G*   G4314 to G3588 the G2992 people, G3144 The lord is witness G2962   G1722 among G1473 you, G2532 and G3144 [² is witness G3588   G5547 ¹his anointed one] G1473   G1722 in G3778 this G3588   G2250 day, G3754 that G3756 you have not G2147 found G1722 in G3588   G5495 my hand G1473   G3762 anything. G2532 And G2036 they said, G3144 He is witness.

  6 G2532 And G2036 Samuel said G*   G4314 to G3588 the G2992 people, G3004 saying, G3144 The lord is witness, G2962   G3588 the G4160 one preparing G3588   G* Moses G2532 and G3588   G* Aaron, G2532 and G3588 the G321 one leading G3588   G3962 our fathers G1473   G1537 out of G* Egypt.

  7 G2532 And G3568 now G2525 stand, G2532 and G1340.1 I will adjudicate for G1473 you G1799 before G2962 the lord, G2532 and G518 I will report G1473 to you G3956 all G3588 the G1343 righteousness G2962 of the lord, G3739 which G4160 he did G1473 to you, G2532 and G3588 to G3962 your fathers, G1473

  12 G2532 And G1492 you beheld G3754 that G* Nahash G935 king G5207 of the sons G* of Ammon G2064 came G1909 upon G1473 you, G2532 and G2036 you said, G3780 No, G237.1 but only G3754 that G935 a king G936 shall reign G1909 over G1473 us. G2532 And G2962 the lord G3588   G2316 our God G1473   G935 is your king. G1473  

  13 G2532 And G3568 now G2400 behold, G3588 the G935 king G3739 whom G1586 you chose G2532 and G3739 whom G2932 you acquire. G2532 And G2400 behold, G1325 the lord puts G2962   G1909 over G1473 you G935 a king!

  14 G1437 If G5399 you should fear G3588 the G2962 lord, G2532 and G1398 should serve G1473 to him, G2532 and G191 should hearken to G3588   G5456 his voice, G1473   G2532 and G3361 should not contend with G2051   G3588 the G4750 mouth G2962 of the lord, G2532 then G1510.7.5 you should be G2532 (even G1473 you yourselves, G2532 and G3588 the G935 king G3588   G936 reigning G1909 over G1473 you) G4198 going G3694 after G2962 the lord G2316 your God.   15 G1437 But if G1161   G3361 you should not G191 hearken to G3588 the G5456 voice G2962 of the lord, G2532 and G2051 should contend G3588 with the G4750 mouth G2962 of the lord, G2532 then G1510.8.3 [³will be G5495 ¹ the hand G2962 ² of the lord] G1909 against G1473 you, G2532 and G1909 against G3588   G935 your king. G1473  

  16 G2532 And G3568 now, G2525 stand G2532 and G1492 behold G3588   G4487 [²thing G3588   G3173 ¹this great] G3778   G3739 which G3588 the G2962 lord G4160 will do G1722 in G3788 your eyes! G1473  

  17 G3780 Is it not G2326 the harvest G4447.1 of wheat G4594 today? G1941 I shall call upon G2962 the lord, G2532 and G1325 he will give G5456 thundering sounds G2532 and G5205 rain. G2532 And G1097 know G2532 and G1492 behold!   18 G2532 And G1941 Samuel called upon G*   G3588 the G2962 lord; G2532 and G1325 the lord gave G2962   G5456 sounds G2532 and G5205 rain G1722 in G3588   G2250 that day. G1565   G2532 And G5399 [⁴feared G3956 ¹all G3588 ²the G2992 ³people] G3588 the G2962 lord G4970 exceedingly, G2532 and G3588   G* Samuel.

  19 G2532 And G2036 [⁴said G3956 ¹all G3588 ²the G2992 ³people] G4314 to G* Samuel, G4336 Pray G5228 for G3588   G1401 your servants G1473   G4314 to G2962 the lord G3588   G2316 your God! G1473   G2532 and G3766.2 in no way G599 we should die, G3754 for G4369 we added G1909 unto G3956 all G3588   G266 our sins G1473   G2549 this evil G154 asking G1438 for ourselves G935 a king.

  20 G2532 And G2036 Samuel said G*   G4314 to G3588 the G2992 people, G3361 Do not G5399 fear! G1473 You G4160 have done G3956 all G3588   G2549 this evil, G3778   G4133 except G3361 you should not G1578 turn aside G575 from G3693 following after G3588 the G2962 lord . G2532 And G1398 serve G3588 to the G2962 lord G1722 with G3650 [²entire G3588   G2588 ³heart G1473 ¹your]!

  21 G2532 And G3361 you should not G1578 turn aside G3694 after G3588 the things G3367 being nothing, G1510.6   G3739 which G4007.1 achieve G3762 nothing, G2532 and G3739 which G3756 shall not G1807 rescue, G3754 for G3762 they are nothing. G1510.2.6  

  22 G3754 For G3756 [²shall not G683 ³thrust away G2962 ¹ the lord] G3588   G2992 his people G1473   G1223 because of G3588   G3686 [³name G1473 ¹his G3588   G3173 ²great]; G3754 for G4355 [²took G2962 ¹ the lord] G1473 you G4160 to make G1519 for G2992 a people G1438 to himself.

  23 G1473 But to me, G1161   G3361 may it not be G1096   G264 to sin G3588 against the G2962 lord, G3588 to stop G1257   G4336 praying G5228 for G1473 you G3588 to the G2316 lord . G2532 But G1213 I will manifest G1473 to you G3588 the G3598 [⁴way G3588   G18 ¹good G2532 ²and G3588   G2117 ³straight].

  24 G4133 Only G5399 fear G3588 the G2962 lord, G2532 and G1398 serve G1473 him G1722 in G225 truth, G2532 and G1722 with G3650 [²entire G2588 ³heart G1473 ¹your]! G3754 For G1492 see G3739 what G3170 he magnified G3326 with G1473 you!

  25 G2532 And G1437 if G2549 by evil G2554 you should do evil, G2532 then G1473 you G2532 and G3588   G935 your king G1473   G4369 shall be added to your dead .
