(1) In Mark 8:8, perisseuma, "an abundance," is used in the plural, RV, "(of broken pieces) that remained over" (AV "that was left").

(2) In 1 Corinthians 7:29, AV, to loipon, lit., "(as to) what is left," "(as for) the rest," is translated "it remaineth" (RV, "henceforth"); in Revelation 3:2, ta loipa, the plural, "the things that remain."
