²⁷ And God prepareth the man in His image; in the image of God He prepared him, a male and a female He prepared them.

²⁰ for the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world, by the things made being understood, are plainly seen, both His eternal power and Godhead—to their being inexcusable;

¹³ which things also we speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Holy Spirit, with spiritual things spiritual things comparing,

⁸ Be sober, vigilant, because your opponent the devil, as a roaring lion, doth walk about, seeking whom he may swallow up,

¹⁴ for also the body is not one member, but many; ¹⁵ if the foot may say, `Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body;' it is not, because of this, not of the body; <sup>16</sup> and if the ear may say, `Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body;' it is not, because of this, not of the body? ¹⁷ If the whole body were an eye, where the hearing? if the whole hearing, where the smelling? ¹⁸ and now, God did set the members each one of them in the body, according as He willed,

¹⁵ for that which I work, I do not acknowledge; for not what I will, this I practise, but what I hate, this I do. ¹⁶ And if what I do not will, this I do, I consent to the law that it is good, ¹⁷ and now it is no longer I that work it, but the sin dwelling in me,

⁴ for as in one body we have many members, and all the members have not the same office, ⁵ so we, the many, one body are in Christ, and members each one of one another. ⁶ And having gifts, different according to the grace that was given to us; whether prophecy—`According to the proportion of faith!'

⁷ And Jehovah saith unto Samuel, `Look not unto his appearance, and unto the height of his stature, for I have rejected him; for it is not as man seeth—for man looketh at the eyes, and Jehovah looketh at the heart.'
