John 17:20-25

20 Nor do I pray for these only, but for them also that shall believe on me through their word. 21 That they all may be one, as Thou, O Father, art in me, and I in Thee; that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me, I have given them: that they may be one, even as we are one. 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that Thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved me. 24 Father, I desire that they also, whom thou hast given me, may be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for Thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father, the world indeed hath not known Thee: but I have known Thee, and these have known that Thou hast sent me.

2 Timothy 4:1-22

1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing, in his kingdom; 2 preach the word, be instant both in season and out of season; convince, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and instruction. 3 For the time will come, when they will not bear sound doctrine; but having itching ears, will heap up to themselves teachers after their own hearts: 4 and turn away their attention from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But be thou watchful in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, give full proof of thy ministry. 6 For I am now going to be sacrificed, and the time of my dissolution is near. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished my race, I have kept the faith. 8 As to what remains, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me in that day: and not to me only, but also to all those who have longed for his appearance. 9 Endeavour to come to me soon: for Demas hath forsaken me, 10 through love of this world, and is gone to Thessalonica; as is Crescens to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia: Luke only is with me. 11 Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is useful to me in the ministry. 12 And I have sent Tychicus to Ephesus. 13 When thou comest, bring with thee the cloke, that I left at Troas with Carpus; and the books, but especially the parchments. 14 Alexander the brazier did me many ill turns: the Lord will reward him according to his deeds. 15 Of whom do thou also beware: for he hath greatly opposed our doctrine. 16 In my first defence no one stood by me, but all men forsook me: God grant it may not be laid to their charge! 17 But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me; that by me the gospel might be fully spread, and that all the nations might hear: and so I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. 18 And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me to his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory throughout all ages. Amen. 19 Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the family of Onesiphorus. 20 Erastus staid at Corinth, and I left Trophimus sick at Miletus. 21 Endeavour therefore to come to me before winter. Eubulus saluteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and indeed all the brethren. 22 The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you all. Amen.

2 Peter 1:12-15

12 Wherefore I will not neglect to put you always in mind of these things, though ye know them, and are established in the present truth. 13 And I think it my duty, while I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by way of remembrance: 14 knowing that I must soon lay down this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me. 15 And I will endeavour that after my departure also ye may always be able to call these things to remembrance.

Matthew 6:20-21

20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

2 Timothy 2:2

2 and the things which thou hast heard from me, before many witnesses, these commit to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

2 Timothy 4:6-8

6 For I am now going to be sacrificed, and the time of my dissolution is near. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished my race, I have kept the faith. 8 As to what remains, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me in that day: and not to me only, but also to all those who have longed for his appearance.
