¹² All things therefore whatsoever ye would have men do to you, do ye also in like manner unto them: for this is the doctrine of the law and the prophets.

²⁶ Therefore God gave them up to infamous passions: for even their women changed the natural use into that which is unnatural, ²⁷ and the men likewise, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust to one another, men with men committing shame, and receiving in themselves the recompence of their error which they deserved.

⁹ What! know ye not that the unjust shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor the effeminate, nor sodomites, ¹⁰ nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor rapacious persons, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

¹² Now there is but one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou then that judgest another?

⁸ But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own family, he hath renounced the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

¹ Judge not, that ye be not judged: ² for with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured back again to you. ³ And why dost thou look at the splinter in thy brother's eye, but takest no notice of the beam in thine own eye? ⁴ Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me take the chaff out of thine eye, and behold, there is a beam in thine own eye? ⁵ Thou hypocrite, first get the beam out of thine own eye; and then thou wilt see how to take the splinter out of thy brother's eye. ⁶ Give not that which is holy unto dogs, nor cast your pearls before swine; least they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you. ⁷ Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: ⁸ for every one, that asketh, receiveth; and he, that seeketh, findeth; and to him, that knocketh, it shall be opened. ⁹ Is there any man among you, who, if his son ask him for bread, will give him a stone? ¹⁰ or if he ask for a fish, will he give him a serpent? ¹¹ If ye then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to them that ask Him? ¹² All things therefore whatsoever ye would have men do to you, do ye also in like manner unto them: for this is the doctrine of the law and the prophets. ¹³ Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be who go in thereat: ¹⁴ whereas the gate is narrow, and the way troublesome, which leadeth into life, and few there be that find it. ¹⁵ And beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. ¹⁶ Ye will know them by their fruits: do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? ¹⁷ so every good tree yieldeth good fruit, but a corrupt tree produces bad fruit: ¹⁸ a good tree cannot produce evil fruit, nor can a corrupt tree bear good fruit: ¹⁹ and every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire. ²⁰ So then by their fruits ye will know them. ²¹ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doth the will of my Father, who is in heaven: ²² many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name, and in thy name have cast out devils, and in thy name have wrought many miracles? and I will then declare unto them, ²³ I never owned you, depart from me, ye workers of iniquity. ²⁴ Whoever therefore heareth these words of mine, and performeth them, I will compare him to a prudent man, who built his house on a rock: ²⁵ and the rain fell upon it, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell not; for it was founded upon a rock. ²⁶ And whoever heareth these words of mine, and performeth them not, shall be likened to a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand: ²⁷ and the rain fell upon it, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell, and the fall thereof was great. ²⁸ And when Jesus had ended these discourses, the people were amazed at his doctrine: ²⁹ for he taught them as one who had authority, and not as the scribes.

¹¹ but He said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying of yours, but those only who have the gift of continence: ¹² for there are some eunuchs, who were born so from their mother's womb; and there be some, who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs, who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. He that can receive this saying, let him receive it.

²⁸ and there is neither Jew nor Greek, those is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female; for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

¹⁴ For all the law is fulfilled in one precept, even in this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

²⁰ I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for how can he, that loveth not his brother, whom he hath seen, love God whom he hath not seen?

¹ Judge not, that ye be not judged:

⁸ Owe no one any thing, but to love one another; for he that loveth others hath fulfilled the law: ⁹ for this command, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet, and every other social precept, is summed up in this, namely, "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." ¹⁰ Love worketh no evil to our neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

³² who though they knew the just judgement of God, (that they who commit such practises are worthy of death) yet not only do these very things, but also countenance and encourage others in the practice of them.

²⁹ But Peter, and the other apostles, answered, and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

³ For the time will come, when they will not bear sound doctrine; but having itching ears, will heap up to themselves teachers after their own hearts:

⁷ as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them, in like manner with them committing lewdness, and going after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of perpetual fire.

⁹ What! know ye not that the unjust shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor the effeminate, nor sodomites, ¹⁰ nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor rapacious persons, shall inherit the kingdom of God. ¹¹ And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the spirit of our God.
