¹³ Come now, ye that say, To-day or to-morrow we will go to such a city, and spend a year there, and trade and get gain; ¹⁴ (though ye know not what will be on the morrow; for what is your life? a vapor, which appeareth for a little while, and then vanisheth away:) whereas ye ought to say, ¹⁵ If the Lord will, and we should live, and do this or that:

¹³ Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope through the power of the holy Spirit.

¹⁸ There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear; because fear hath torment; but he that feareth is not perfected in love.

²² and whatsoever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep his commandments, and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.

¹³ I can do all things through Christ strengthening me.

⁶ So that we may say with courage, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

²⁰ For, if our heart condemn us, God is still greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. ²¹ Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence towards God:

⁵ not that we can of ourselves reckon upon any thing as from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God.
