¹⁴ For if ye forgive men their faults, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: ¹⁵ but if ye forgive not men their transgressions, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him might not perish, but have everlasting life:

⁷ casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you.

¹ Be ye therefore imitators of God as his dear children; and walk in love,

¹⁴ For all the law is fulfilled in one precept, even in this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

³¹ So when the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon his glorious throne: ³² and all nations shall be assembled before Him; and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides the sheep from the goats: ³³ and He shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left. ³⁴ Then will the king say to them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: ³⁵ for I was famishing, and ye gave me food; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in; ³⁶ I was naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye took care of me; I was in prison, and ye visited me. ³⁷ Then will the righteous answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see thee hungry, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? ³⁸ and when did we see thee a stranger, and took thee in? ³⁹ or naked, and clothed thee? and when did we see thee sick, or in prison, and visited thee? ⁴⁰ And the king replying will say unto them, Verily I declare unto you, inasmuch as ye did it to one of the lest of these my brethren, ye did it to me. ⁴¹ Then will He say also to those on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: ⁴² for I was famishing, and ye gave me nothing to eat; I was a-thirst, and ye gave me no drink; ⁴³ I was a stranger, and ye took me not in; naked, and ye clothed me not; sick, and in prison, and ye took no care of me. ⁴⁴ Then will they also answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee famishing, or a-thirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not relieve thee? ⁴⁵ Then will He reply to them, saying, Verily I tell you, inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the lest of these, ye did it not to me. ⁴⁶ And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life everlasting.

³¹ And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them in like manner.

²³ do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men;

¹ For if I speak with the tongues of men and angels, and have not charity, I am but as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. ² And though I have the gift of prophecy, and am acquainted with all mysteries, and all knowledge: yea if I have faith, even. to remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

⁸ But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own family, he hath renounced the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

¹⁴ What is the advantage, my brethren, if any one say that he has faith, and he hath not works, can faith alone save him? ¹⁵ If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food; ¹⁶ and one of you say to them, Go in peace, be ye warmed and be ye filled: but ye give them not the necessaries of life, what profit is it to them? ¹⁷ so faith, if it have not works, being alone, is dead.

⁴ Look not every one to his own interests only, but every one also to the concerns of others.

¹⁰ And therefore as we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, but especially to those who are of the houshold of faith.

³⁴ A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; ---as I have loved you, that ye also love one another: for by this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, ³⁵ if ye have mutual love to each other.
