²² And Jesus, answering, saith to them, "Have the faith of God. ²³ Verily I say to you, whosoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says comes to pass; he shall have it. ²⁴ Therefore, I say to you, all things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye received them, and ye shall have them. ²⁵ And whensoever ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any; that your Father also Who is in Heaven may forgive you your trespasses."

¹⁸ And Zacharias said to the angel, "By what shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife is far advanced in her days." ¹⁹ And the angel, answering, said to him, "I am Gabriel, who have been standing near before God, and I was sent to speak to you, and to proclaim these glad tidings to you. ²⁰ And, behold, you shall be silent, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall come to pass; because you did not believe my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season."

²³ And he who doubts is condemned, if he eat, because he eats not of faith; and all that is not of faith is sin.

²⁴ Straight-way the father of the child, crying out, said, "I believe; help Thou my unbelief!"

³⁸ And He said to them, "Why are ye troubled? and wherefore do questionings arise in your heart?

²⁷ Then He saith to Thomas, "Reach hither your finger, and see My hands; and reach hither your hand, and press it into My side; and be not faithless, but believing."

³¹ And immediately Jesus, stretching forth His hand, took hold of him, and saith to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"

⁵ But, if any of you is lacking in wisdom, let him ask from God, Who giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it will be given him; ⁶ but let him ask in faith, nothing doubting; for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, wind-driven and tossed. ⁷ For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; ⁸ a double-souled man, unstable in all his ways.

²² And on some have compassion, while contending with you,

²¹ And Jesus, answering, said to them, "Verily I say to you, if ye have faith, and do not doubt, not only the withering of the fig tree shall ye accomplish, but, even if ye say to this mountain, 'Be lifted up, and be cast into the sea,' it shall be done.

⁶ but let him ask in faith, nothing doubting; for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, wind-driven and tossed.
