Bible verses about "pleasure" | Williams

Romans 13:12-14

12 The night has almost passed; the day is at hand. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness, and put on the weapons of light. 13 Let us live becomingly for people who are in the light of day, not in carousing and drunkenness, nor in sexual immorality and licentiousness, nor in quarreling and jealousy. 14 Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and put a stop to gratifying the evil desires that lurk in your lower nature.

19 Now the practices of the lower nature are clear enough: Sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmity, quarreling, jealousy, anger, intrigues, dissensions, party-spirit, 21 envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like.
