Galatians 5:19-21

19 Now the practices of the lower nature are clear enough: Sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmity, quarreling, jealousy, anger, intrigues, dissensions, party-spirit, 21 envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. 1 Peter 4:1-6

1 So then, since Christ has suffered in our physical form, you too must arm yourselves with the same determination. For whoever suffers in his physical form has done with sin, 2 so that he no longer can spend the rest of his earthly life in harmony with human desires but in accordance with God's will. 3 For the time that is past is enough for you to have accomplished what the heathen like to do, leading lives that are steeped in sensuality, lustful desires, drunkenness, carousing, revelry, dissipation, and idolatry that leads to lawlessness, 4 They are astonished that you are not still rushing hand in hand with them into the same excesses of profligate living, and they abuse you for it; 5 but they will have to give account for it to Him who is ready to judge living and dead. 6 This is why the good news was preached to the dead too, that they may be judged in their physical nature as men are, but live in the Spirit as God does. 7 But the end of everything on earth is near. So be serious and sober minded, that you may give yourselves to prayer.

Romans 13:13-14

13 Let us live becomingly for people who are in the light of day, not in carousing and drunkenness, nor in sexual immorality and licentiousness, nor in quarreling and jealousy. 14 Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and put a stop to gratifying the evil desires that lurk in your lower nature.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

19 Or, are you not conscious that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit that is in you, whom you have as a gift from God? Furthermore, you are not your own, 20 for you have been bought and actually paid for. So you must honor God with your bodies.

Ephesians 5:18

18 Stop getting drunk on wine, for that means profligacy, but ever be filled with the Spirit,

Titus 2:1-8

1 You must continue telling the people what is proper for wholesome teaching: 2 the older men to be temperate, serious, and sensible, healthy in faith, in love, and in steadfastness; 3 the older women, too, to be reverent in their deportment, and not to be slanderers or slaves to heavy drinking, but to be teachers of what is right, 4 so as to train the younger women to be affectionate wives and mothers, 5 to be serious, pure, home keepers, kind, and subordinate to their husbands, so as not to cause God's message to suffer reproach. 6 Keep urging the younger men to be sensible. 7 In everything you yourself continue to set them a worthy example of doing good; be sincere and serious in your teaching, 8 let your message be wholesome and unobjectionable, so that our opponent may be put to shame at having nothing evil to say about us.

1 Peter 5:8

8 Be calm and alert. Your opponent the devil is always prowling about like a roaring lion, trying to devour you.
