³ And not only this, but we glory in tribulations also, knowing that tribulation worketh patience; ⁴ And patience, experience; and experience, hope: ⁵ And hope maketh not ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost.

¹² Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial, which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

⁶ And he said unto me. They are done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end: I will give unto him that is athirst, of the water of life freely. ⁷ He that overcometh shall inherit these things, and I will be his God and he shall be my son.

¹⁹ What, know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? ²⁰ For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

¹² Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial, which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: ¹³ But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

¹⁹ Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God, commit the keeping of their souls in well-doing unto a faithful Creator.

¹³ I can do all things through Christ who strengthneth me.

¹² Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial, which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: ¹³ But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. ¹⁴ If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy [are ye]; for the spirit of glory and power, and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. ¹⁵ But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or [as] a thief, or [as] an evil doer, or as an overseer in other mens matters. ¹⁶ Yet if [it be] as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God in this name. ¹⁷ For the time [is], that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if [it] first [begin] at us, what shall the end [be] of them that obey not the gospel of God? ¹⁸ And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? ¹⁹ Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God, commit the keeping of their souls in well-doing unto a faithful Creator.

¹⁸ For I reckon, that the sufferings of this present time, [are] not comparable to the glory which shall be revealed in us.

⁴ And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; the former things are passed away.
