²⁸ And why are ye sollicitous for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field how they grow; they toil not, neither dothey spin. ²⁹ And yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory, was not arayed like one of these. ³⁰ Wherefore if God so clothe the grass of the field which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, [shall he] not much more do so to you, O ye of little faith?

¹⁹ Because that which may be known of God, is manifest in them; for God hath shewed [it] to them. ²⁰ For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

¹⁹ For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the Sons of God. ²⁰ For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly; but by reason of him who hath subjected [it] in hope: ²¹ Because the creature it self also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption, unto the glorious liberty of the children of God. ²² For we know that the whole creation groaneth, and travaileth in pain together until now:
