³³ When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews who accompanied her weeping he was troubled in spirit, as one in a passion. ³⁴ And said, where have you laid him? They say unto him, Lord come and see. ³⁵ And Jesus wept.

³⁷ And behold, a woman in the city, a sinner, when she knew that he was sat down in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, ³⁸ And stood behind him, at his feet weeping, and washed his feet with tears, and wiped [them] with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed [them] with the ointment. ³⁹ Now when the Pharisee who had bidden him, saw [it,] he spake within himself, saying, This [man],if he were a prophet, would have known who, and what manner of woman [this is] that toucheth him: for she is a sinner. ⁴⁰ And Jesus answering, said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he said, Master, say on. ⁴¹ But he said, There was a certain creditor, who had two debters: the one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty[.] ⁴² When [they] had nothing to pay, he forgave both. Which of them therefore will love [him] most? ⁴³ Simon answered and said, I suppose that he to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged. ⁴⁴ And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entred into thine house, and thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped [them] with her hairs. ⁴⁵ Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman, since the time I came in, hath not ceased to kiss my feet. ⁴⁶ Mine head with oyl thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed [it] with ointment. ⁴⁷ Wherefore I say unto thee, Many things are forgiven her. ⁴⁸ But he said unto her, All thy sins are forgiven. ⁴⁹ And they that sat down with him, began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also? ⁵⁰ And he said to the woman, woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

³⁴ A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. ³⁵ For by this shall all know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

³ Blessed [be] God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; ⁴ Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them who are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we our selves also are comforted of God.

² Bear ye one another's burdens, andso fulfil the law of Christ.

¹⁴ Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast [our] profession. ¹⁵ For we have not an high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, without sin. ¹⁶ Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace for seasonableassistance.

³ Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; them which suffer adversity, as being your selves also in the body.

²⁶ And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it: or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

²⁹ Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to edification of faith: that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

³ [Do] nothing through strife, or vain-glory, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves.

¹² Put on therefore as the elect of God holy and beloved bowels of mercies, also kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

¹² This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

⁸ Finally, [be ye] all unanimous, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, pitiful, humble:

¹² Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

³² Be ye therefore kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven us.

¹⁵ Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
