⁹ And I say to you, whosoever shall put away his wife, except for whoredom, and marry another, committeth adultery, and whoso marrieth her that is put away, committeth adultery.

³² But I say unto you, whosoever shall put away his wife, save for the cause of whoredom, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away, committeth adultery.

⁵ Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth, fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

¹ It is commonly reported, that there is fornication among you, and such fornication, as is not even named among the heathens, that one should have his father's wife.

⁹ Know ye not, that the unjust shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor the effeminate,

² Yet, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife; and let every woman have her own husband.

¹⁸ Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doth, is without the body; but he that committeth fornication, sinneth against his own body. ¹⁹ Know ye not, that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in you, which ye have from God? ²⁰ And ye are not your own: For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God with your body and your spirit, which are God's.

⁸ But the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

¹⁹ Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these, adultery, fornication,

⁷ Even as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities about them, which in the same manner with these gave themselves over to fornication, and went after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

¹⁸ Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doth, is without the body; but he that committeth fornication, sinneth against his own body.

⁴ Marriage is honourable in all men, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
