⁹ And I say to you, whosoever shall put away his wife, except for whoredom, and marry another, committeth adultery, and whoso marrieth her that is put away, committeth adultery.

²⁰ And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. ²¹ For from within, out of the heart of man proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, ²² Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, envy, evil speaking, pride, foolishness. ²³ All these evils come from within, and defile the man.

⁵ Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth, fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

⁹ Know ye not, that the unjust shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor the effeminate, ¹⁰ nor sodomites, Nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor revilers, nor the rapacious shall inherit the kingdom of God. ¹¹ And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

¹ It is commonly reported, that there is fornication among you, and such fornication, as is not even named among the heathens, that one should have his father's wife.

¹³ Meats are for the belly, and the belly for meats; yet God will destroy both it and them. But the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

³ For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye abstain from fornication; ⁴ That every one of you know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;

⁷ Even as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities about them, which in the same manner with these gave themselves over to fornication, and went after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

³ But let not fornication, or any uncleanness, or covetousness be even named among you, as becometh saints:

³² But I say unto you, whosoever shall put away his wife, save for the cause of whoredom, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away, committeth adultery.

¹⁸ Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doth, is without the body; but he that committeth fornication, sinneth against his own body.

¹³ There hath no temptation taken you, but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above your ability, but will with the temptation make also a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

⁸ But the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

⁴¹ Abraham did not thus. Ye do the deeds of your father. They said to him, We were not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. ⁴² Jesus said to them, If God were your father, ye would love me; for I proceeded forth, and come from God. I am come not of myself, but He hath sent me.

² Yet, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife; and let every woman have her own husband.

¹⁹ Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these, adultery, fornication, ²⁰ uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, enmities, contentions, ²¹ emulations, wraths, strifes, divisions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of which I tell you before (as I have also told you in time past) that they who practise such things, shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

⁴ Marriage is honourable in all men, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

¹⁸ Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doth, is without the body; but he that committeth fornication, sinneth against his own body. ¹⁹ Know ye not, that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in you, which ye have from God? ²⁰ And ye are not your own: For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God with your body and your spirit, which are God's.
