²³ And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. ²⁴ For whoever will save his life, shall lose it: but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. ²⁵ For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? ²⁶ For whoever shall be ashamed of me, and of my words, of him will the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in that of his Father, and of the holy angels. ²⁷ But I tell you in truth, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the kingdom of God.

²² That ye put off concerning the former manner of life the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts: ²³ And be renewed in the Spirit of your mind; ²⁴ And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

²⁷ Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

¹⁹ What, know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God, and ye are not your own? ²⁰ For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

¹⁰ For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

¹ Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. ² Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. ³ And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

⁹ But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

²⁰ I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

⁵ Before I formed thee in embryo I knew thee; and before thou wast born I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet to the nations.

¹¹ For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

¹⁷ Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

²⁷ So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
