⁷ And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

⁶ You made him to have dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet: ⁷ All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; ⁸ The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passes through the paths of the seas.

¹³ The LORD looks from heaven; he beholds all the sons of men. ¹⁴ From the place of his habitation he looks upon all the inhabitants of the earth. ¹⁵ He fashions their hearts alike; he considers all their works.

²⁷ The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.
