⁶ Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD your God, he it is that does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.

⁷ And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in you.

³¹ But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

¹⁰ Fear you not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yea, I will help you; yea, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

¹³ And now abides faith, hope, love, (o. agape) these three; but the greatest of these is love. (o. agape)

⁴ For whatsoever things were written in old times were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

¹ Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

² By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. ³ And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation works patience; ⁴ And patience, experience; and experience, hope: ⁵ And hope makes not ashamed; because the love (o. agape) of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) which is given unto us.

¹¹ For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

¹² Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

¹³ Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that all of you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit. (o. pneuma)
