²⁸ A perverse man sows strife: and a whisperer separates chief friends.

¹⁶ These six things does the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: ¹⁷ A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, ¹⁸ An heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, ¹⁹ A false witness that speaks lies, and he that sows discord among brethren.

¹³ And likewise they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but gossiping also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.

²⁹ Let no corrupt communication (o. logos) proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
