¹⁰ So that in adoration of the Name of Jesus every knee should bend, in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth, ¹¹ And that every tongue should acknowledge JESUS CHRIST as LORD- -to the glory of God the Father.

¹⁴ If any one disregards what we have said in this letter, mark that man and avoid his company, that he may feel ashamed.

¹⁹ Remember, I have given you the power to 'trample upon serpents and scorpions,' and to meet all the strength of the Enemy. Nothing shall ever harm you in any way.

¹⁷ Obey your Leaders, and submit to their control, for they are watching over your souls, as men who will have to render an account, so that they may do it with joy, and not in sorrow. That would not be to your advantage.

⁹ Every one who goes beyond the limits of the Teaching of the Christ has failed to find God; the man who keeps to that Teaching--he has found both the Father and the Son.

²⁹ To this Peter and the Apostles replied: "We must obey God rather than men.

¹ Let every one obey the supreme Authorities. For no Authority exists except by the will of God, and the existing Authorities have been appointed by God.

¹⁸ Then Jesus came up, and spoke to them thus: "All authority in heaven and on the earth has been given to me.
