²⁷ Whoever shall eat blood, that person shall be cut off from among his people.

²⁸ For this is my blood; that of the new covenant; that shed for many, for the remission of sins.

²⁹ To abstain from things offered to idols, and blood, and what is strangled, and fornication, from which you will do well to keep yourselves. Farewell."

⁹ Much more therefore shall we, being now acquitted by his blood, be saved by him from the wrath;

²⁵ whom God heretofore exhibited as a mercy seat by faith in his blood, that, on account of the remission of past sins, during the forbearance of God,

¹⁹ but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot,

⁵ and from Jesus Christ who is the faithful witness, the first born from the dead, and the sovereign of the kings of the earth. To him who hath loved us, and washed us from our sins with his blood,

¹¹ and they have conquered him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony and have not spared to expose their life even to death.

¹⁴ For its blood is the life of all flesh, therefore I have said to the children of Israel, you shall not eat the blood of any flesh. Because its blood is the life of all flesh, every one who eateth it shall be cut off.

⁶ I passed by thee and saw thee polluted with thy blood and said to thee, From thy blood there is life.

¹² nor with the blood of goats and young bulls, but with his own blood, once for all, having procured everlasting redemption. ¹³ For if the blood of bulls and goats, and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean sanctify, to the cleansing of the flesh; ¹⁴ how much more will the' blood of the Christ, who by an eternal spirit hath offered himself without blemish to God, purify your conscience from dead works that you may serve the living God.

¹² And therefore Jesus, that he might by his own blood sanctify the people, suffered without the gate.

⁴ But flesh with the blood of life you shall not eat.

⁶ This Jesus is the Christ, whose coming was pointed out by water and by blood, not by the water only, but by the water and the blood; and the spirit is testifying this. Because the spirit is the truth,

⁷ But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have communion with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanseth us from all sin.

²² And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood. Indeed without a shedding of blood there was no remission.

¹¹ For the blood is the life of all flesh; and I have given it to you to make atonement on the altar for your souls. For the blood shall make atonement for souls.
