Ecclesiastes 9:5-6

5 because they who are alive must know that they shall die; but the dead are not sensible of any thing and there is no more a portion for them; because the remembrance of these is forgotten, 6 and their love and their hatred and their envy are already perished and they have no more forever a portion in any thing done under the sun;

Revelation 6:9-11

9 And when he opened the fifth seal I saw under the altar the souls of them who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they had borne. 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O sovereign, the holy one and the true, dost thou defer judging and avenging our blood on the inhabitants of the earth?" 11 And to every of them were given white robes and they were told that they should rest yet a little while till their fellow servants and their brethren who were about to be slain as well as they were completed.

Revelation 20:6

Revelation 1:1-20

1 A REVELATION of Jesus Christ, which God gave him, to shew to his servants things which must shortly come to pass, and which he sent by his angel, and signified to his servant John, 2 who hath testified the word of God, and the testimony of Jesus Christ, and what he saw. 3 Happy he who readeth, and they who hear the words of this prophecy; and keep the things that are written therein! For the time is at hand! 4 John to the seven congregations which are in Asia; favour be to you, and peace from him who is, and who was, and who is to come; and from the seven spirits which are before his throne; 5 and from Jesus Christ who is the faithful witness, the first born from the dead, and the sovereign of the kings of the earth. To him who hath loved us, and washed us from our sins with his blood, 6 and made us kings and priests to God, even his father to him be the glory and dominion for the ages of the ages. Amen. 7 Behold he is coming with clouds, and every eye shall see him, even they who pierced him; and for him all the tribes of the earth shall mourn. Yes, be it so. 8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end," saith the Lord, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty." 9 I John, who am your brother, and a partaker in this affliction, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the island which is called Patmos, on the account of the word of God and of the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10 I was in the spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, like the sound of a trumpet, 11 saying, "I am the Alpha and the Omega; the first and the last," and "what thou seest, write in a book, and send it to the seven congregations which are in Asia, to Ephesus and to Smyrna, and to Pergamus, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea." 12 Whereupon I turned to look towards the voice which spake to me; and upon turning about, I saw seven golden candlesticks, 13 and in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks one like a son of man, clothed with a robe down to the feet, and girded about the breast with a golden girdle; 14 and as for his head, the hairs like wool were glittering white as snow, and his eyes were like a flame of fire; 15 and his feet were like fine brass, as if they were glowing in a furnace; and his voice was like the sound of many waters. 16 And he had in his right hand seven stars; and out of his mouth went a sharp two edged sword. And his countenance was like the sun shining in its strength. 17 And when I saw him I fell at his feet as one dead. Whereupon he laid his right hand on me, and said to me, "Fear not. I am the first and the last, 18 even he who liveth. Though I was dead yet behold I am alive, and live for the ages of the ages, Amen. And I have the keys of the mansion of the dead, and of death. 19 Write what thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which are about to be hereafter. 20 With respect to the hidden meaning of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks; the seven stars are the angels of the seven congregations and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven congregations.

Luke 16:19-31

19 There was a certain rich man who was clad with purple and cotton robes, and who feasted daily in a splendid manner. 20 And there was a certain poor man, named Lazarus, who was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21 desirous indeed to be fed with the crumbs which fell from his table: and moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 At length this poor man died, and was carried by angels to Abraham's bosom. And the rich man died also, and was buried. 23 And in the mansion of the dead having lifted up his eyes, being in torment, he seeth Abraham far off and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 Whereupon he cried and said, Father, Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25 And Abraham said, Son, remember that thou receivedst thy good things in thy life time; and Lazarus in like manner, his evil things. But now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26 But besides all this, there is betwixt us and you, a huge gulf fixed; so that they, who would go hence to you, cannot. Neither can they who are there, cross over to us. 27 Then he said, I intreat thee therefore, Father, to send him to my father's house; 28 for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, that they also may not come to this place of torment. 29 To this Abraham replied, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hearken to them. 30 Whereupon he said, Nay, father Abraham, but if one go to them from the dead, they will reform. 31 And Abraham said to him, If they will not hearken to Moses, and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one should rise from the dead.

Matthew 10:28

28 And be not afraid of them who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him, who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

John 14:2

2 In my Father's house there are many mansions. If there were not, would I have said to you, I am going to prepare a place for you?

Luke 23:43

43 Whereupon Jesus said to him, Verily I say to thee, Today thou shalt be with me in paradise.

Revelation 21:8

8 but the cowards and the unbelieving and abominable and murderers and prostitutes, and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars shall have their portion in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone. This is the second death.

46 So these shall go to everlasting punishment and the righteous to an everlasting life.

John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him may not perish, but have everlasting life.
