¹² This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. ¹³ No man has greater love than this, that one should give his life for his friends. ¹⁴ You are my friends if you do what I command you;

¹² that is, that I may be comforted in you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

⁸ above all things have fervent love one for another, for love hides a multitude of sins. ⁹ Be hospitable one to another, without complaining; ¹⁰ as each has received a gift, minister the same among yourselves as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
