²² But now having been made free from sin and made servants to God, you have your fruit in sanctification, and the end eternal life.

^{1 (6:1)} THERE is no condemnation therefore to those in Christ Jesus; ² for the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and death. ³ For what the law could not do because it was weak through the flesh, God having sent his Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned the sin in the flesh, ⁴ that the righteous ordinance of the law may be performed by us who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the spirit.

⁷ For God gave us not a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

²⁵ But he that looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, not being a forgetful hearer but a doer of work, he shall be blessed in his doing.

³⁶ If, therefore, the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.

³² and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

¹³ For you are called to liberty, brothers, only make not your liberty an occasion for the flesh, but by love serve one another.

¹⁷ And the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty.

¹⁶ as free, and not using freedom for a cloak of vice, but as servants of God.

^{1 (3:1)} STAND firm in the liberty with which Christ has made you free, and be not again subject to a yoke of servitude.
