John 13:34-35

34 I give you a new commandment to love another, as I have loved you that you also should love one another. 35 By this shall all know that you are my disciples, if you have love one for another.

Acts 2:38

38 And Peter said to them, Change your minds, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 2:1

1 (2:5) Wherefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are that judge, for in that in which you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge do the same things.

James 1:12-15

12 (1:2) Blessed is the man who endures trial, for when proved he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him. 13 Let no tempted one say, I am tempted by God; for God is not subject to temptation by evils, and he tempts no one. 14 But every one is tempted when he is drawn away by his desires, and enticed; 15 then the desire taking effect produces sin, and sin being finished brings forth death.

Romans 6:1-23

1 (4:1) WHAT shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that the grace may abound? 2 By no means. How shall we who died to sin any longer live in it? 3 Do you not know that as many of us as were baptized in Christ were baptized in his death? 4 We have been buried therefore with him through baptism in death, that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall much more be of his resurrection; 6 knowing this that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that we should no longer serve sin; 7 for he that died was justified from sin. 8 And if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him; 9 knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dies no more; death has no longer a lordship over him. 10 For [the death] which he died, he died to sin once; but [the life] which he lives, he lives to God. 11 So also account yourselves dead indeed to sin, but living to God in Christ Jesus. 12 (4:2) Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal bodies, to obey its desires, 13 neither present your members as instruments of wickedness to sin, but present yourselves to God as living from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. 14 For sin shall not have a Lordship over you; for you are not under the law but under the grace. 15 (4:3) What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under the grace? By no means. 16 Know you not that to whom you present yourselves servants for obedience, his servants you are whom you obey, whether of sin in death or of obedience in righteousness? 17 But thanks be to God that you were servants of sin, but obeyed from the heart the form of teaching in which you were instructed, 18 and having become free from sin you served righteousness. 19 I speak after the manner of men on account of the weakness of your flesh. For as you presented your members servants to impurity and to wickedness in wickedness, so now present your members servants to righteousness in sanctification. 20 For when you were servants of sin, you were free from righteousness. 21 What fruit had you therefore then in things of which you are now ashamed? for the end of them is death. 22 But now having been made free from sin and made servants to God, you have your fruit in sanctification, and the end eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life by Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 Corinthians 13:1-13

1 (6:5) If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels and have not love, I am a sounding brass and a tinkling cymbal. 2 And if I have prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing. 3 And if I deal out all my property to feed the poor, and if I deliver my body to be burned, and have not love, I shall not be profited. 4 (6:6) Love suffers long and is kind; love envies not; love is not boastful, is not puffed up, 5 does not behave unbecomingly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, devises not evil, 6 rejoices not in wickedness, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes for all things, and endures all things. 8 (6:7) Love never fails; but if there are prophecies, they shall pass away; if tongues, they shall cease; if knowledge, it shall pass away. 9 And we know in part and we prophesy in part; 10 when the perfect has come, that which is in part shall pass away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I thought as a child, I reasoned as a child; when I became a man I put away childish things. 12 For now we see by a mirror darkly, but then we shall see face to face; now I know in part, but then I shall know fully as I also am known. 13 And now remain faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Romans 13:8-10

8 Owe no man any thing, except to love one another; for he that loves another has fully performed the law. 9 For this, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not desire inordinately, and if there is any other commandment, it is summarily comprehended in this word; You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 10 Love does no evil to a neighbor; love therefore is the sum of the law.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

16 All Scripture is divinely inspired and is profitable for instruction, for conviction, for correction, for education in righteousnes, 17 that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly fitted for every good work.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

9 Know you not that the unjust shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor the effeminate, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor the rapacious, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you; but you are washed, you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
