7 Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover lamb must be killed.
8 And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare the passover for us, that we may eat it.
9 And they said to him, Where will you have us prepare it?
10 And he said to them, Behold, when you enter the city, a man shall meet you there, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house that he enters.
11 And you shall say to the owner of the house, The Teacher says to you, Where is the guest chamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?
12 And he shall show you a large upper room, furnished: make ready there.
13 And they went, and found it as he had said to them: and they made ready the passover.
14 And when the hour had come, he sat down, and the apostles with him.
15 And he said to them, I have earnestly desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
16 For I say to you, I will not eat it again, until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
18 For I say to you, I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and broke it, and gave to them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: do this in remembrance of me.
20 Likewise he took the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood.

21 The Son of man shall indeed go, just as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it would be better for that man if he had never been born.
22 And as they ate, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and broke it, and gave to them, and said, Take it: this is my body.
23 And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank from it.
24 And he said to them, This is my blood of the covenant, which is shed for many.
