⁷ And he called to him the twelve, and began to send them forth two by two; and gave them authority over unclean spirits;

⁸ Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, like a roaring lion, walks about, seeking someone he may devour.

¹² For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against authorities, against the powers of darkness of this world, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
